Tariffs for Ukrposhta services related to the delivery of pensions to the population in cash were discussed at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on April 30.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii, Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Yulia Svyrydenko, Head of the Pension Fund Evhen Kapinus, Director General of Ukrposhta Ihor Smilyansky, representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture.

The Prime Minister stressed that the delivery of pensions should be as comfortable as possible for the people.

"All government agencies and ministries involved in this process must soon develop an effective solution that will protect both retirees and postmen. The transition to receiving pensions from cash to bank account should take place gradually and be realized as a right of people, not an obligation," the Head of Government stressed.

The Pension Fund and JSC Ukrposhta are working together to improve the quality of services for the seniors.
