Prices and tariffs for housing and communal services in this heating season will remain in place. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on air of the program Pravo na Vladu (the Right to Power – ed.) on November 11.

Thus, the electricity tariff was reduced for 80% of households to UAH 1.44 per kWh. For the rest of the households, it remains at UAH 1.68 per kWh.

Today, Naftogaz offers gas to the population at a price of UAH 7.96 per cubic meter. Those consumers who have fallen for the Supplier of the bottom of the ninth also pay such a price. In addition, we signed a memorandum with local government representatives to keep the tariffs for heat and hot water at last year's level. To do this, the state is to transfer 4% of personal income tax and 13.44% of excise tax to local budgets next year. This is more than UAH 30 billion, which is quite enough to fulfill this task," stressed Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister also highlighted that all people who need subsidies will be provided with them. According to the Head of Government, in the red zones the standards for calculating subsidies to Ukrainians have been increased by 50% in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.
