Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and members of the Government took part in a funeral ceremony for the victims of the plane crash in Brovary. The event took place in Kyiv on January 21.
"The tragedy in Brovary has left another scar on every Ukrainian. 14 people died. Some people lost their mothers and fathers. And someone lost a child. It is impossible to describe in words what kind of grief and pain this is," said Denys Shmyhal.
Among those who died in the Brovary disaster were also employees of the Government and state bodies:
Denys Monastyrskyy, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Yevhen Yenin, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
Yuriy Lubkovych, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Tetiana Shutyak - Deputy Head of the Patronage Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Mykola Anatskyy - leading inspector of the Communication Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Mykhailo Pavlushko - Head of the Protection Division of the Internal Security Department of the NPU.
Andrii Marynchenko - Senior Operative for Particularly Important Cases of the Internal Security Department of the NPU.
"Today we are paying the tribute and burying wonderful people, professionals and patriots. May you rest in peace. Eternal and bright memory," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
