Prime Minister presented awards to employees of the State Emergency Service on the occasion of the Rescuer Day

On the occasion of the Rescuer Day, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal took part in the ceremony of presenting state awards and honors to employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Today, you, like our soldiers, are on the front lines of the fight against absolute evil personified in russian terrorists. You are always among the first to come to the rescue. You give the light of hope even in the darkness of hopelessness. Your work is a daily risk, a test of strength, a test of endurance. But you overcome these challenges with honor, save the lives of people, animals, wheat fields and forests, historical monuments and assets of our state, return normal life to our cities and villages," said the Prime Minister.

Denys Shmyhal thanked the rescuers for their courage and resilience, bravery and professionalism and wished them to always return home alive and healthy.
