Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development Mykhailo Fedorov made a working visit to Kyiv region. They visited Irpin and Hostomel, where a project to rebuild apartment buildings is being implemented with funds raised on the UNITED24 platform. 

The officials got acquainted with the progress of the reconstruction and talked to the residents of the settlements.

"The houses are being insulated, engineering networks are being restored. We have defined safety, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness and barrier-free accessibility as the cross-cutting parameters of reconstruction. It is important that all of them are met," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister said that within the framework of the project, the Government had already transferred UAH 638.9 million raised on the UNITED24 platform. He thanked everyone involved in the fundraising. 

Currently, work is underway at 13 sites in Irpin, Hostomel, Borodianka and Myla village. The first stage of the project will involve the reconstruction of 18 houses for 4,500 people.
