Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce to address measures to support the economy and current challenges.
"We are working with our partners to insure war risks. This will help attract businesses to invest in Ukraine. We have agreements with MIGA and DFC for hundreds of millions of dollars. We have created an exporters' insurance mechanism with a pool of British companies," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister noted that the Government was committed to supporting business. In particular, for the first time, the State Budget for 2024 provides for expenditures for the creation of industrial parks and humanitarian demining projects.
The participants also addressed recovery priorities and initiatives that will contribute to GDP growth. According to the Head of Government, Ukraine is coordinating with its partners on the Compensation Mechanism to direct frozen russian assets to rebuild Ukraine.
The Prime Minister told the representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce about Ukraine's progress in reforms. He noted that the European Union and the International Monetary Fund highly appreciated this progress, reflecting Ukraine's commitment to further transformation and development.
