The policy of heroes, outlined by the President of Ukraine as one of the reference points of the new Ukrainian Doctrine, is among the Government’s reform priorities for this year. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“Integration of veterans into social and economic life. Affordable mortgages. Grants that we are already providing for veteran businesses and will continue to expand in this area. Social support. Physical and mental rehabilitation. Establishment of veteran assistants. New barrier-free standards. Memorialisation of the war and the experience of our victory. Creation of the Pantheon of Heroes and the National Military Cemetery. These are the things that the President spoke about, and it is important to involve the veterans who have returned from the war in their implementation,” the Head of Government stressed.

Justice is also among the reference points of the new Ukrainian Doctrine announced by the President of Ukraine. This includes the creation of a special tribunal to punish the russian military and political leadership and the confiscation of russian assets for the reconstruction of Ukraine. According to the Prime Minister, the state is moving in both directions and has already seen the first results.
