A digital policy conference organised by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) took place in Berlin, during which the [digital.global] partnership network was launched. Also during the event, the Ministry of Digital Transformation signed a Declaration of Intent within the GovStack initiative with Germany, Estonia and the UN.

The conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration Valeria Ionan.

"We are grateful for the constant support that Ukraine feels today. For the initiatives that are being implemented to help the Ukrainian authorities, people and business. Our team is actively working on joining the GovStack initiative, and we are grateful to our German, Estonian and other European partners for making it possible," Valeria Ionan said in her address.

The GovStack initiative aims to create a common framework and technical practices for the development of international digital components that can be used for the digital transformation of governments around the world.

Participation in the initiative means recognition of Ukraine as an equal member of the international digital community and provides an opportunity for Ukraine to share with other countries such developments as Diia and the Registry Platform.
