Kyiv hosted a two-day meeting for doctors and nurses who work as operators of the national hotline of the Ministry of Health and UNICEF. The meeting was called "Together to Health" and focused on immunization and psychological support.

Opening the conference, Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykychak presented the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska.

The war exacerbates so many issues of basic survival that mental health and protection from dangerous infections can fall by the wayside. But despite the challenges of war, Ukrainian healthcare workers not only work tirelessly in often extremely difficult conditions, but also find time to share their experiences and provide psychological support for themselves and their patients.

The participants asked questions, shared their ideas, needs, and requests for psychological support for themselves and their patients in the war. It is crucial for everyone to know how we can help ourselves and our loved ones.

We are grateful to our partner, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine, for their ongoing cooperation!

The event was held within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the National Health Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the International Family Nursing Association, the VacciNation NGO, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and in support of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program, which was created and implemented at the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
