On the first day of the Winter ePidtrymka programme, more than 2.1 million Ukrainians applied for UAH 1,000 in state aid via the Diia app. Of these, almost half a million applications were for payments to children. This was announced by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
"Despite the fact that Winter ePidtrymka was launched on a day off, more than 2.1 million Ukrainians have already applied for assistance. The pace and scale of the programme is high. This shows that social support from the state is in demand and timely. We hope that it will help Ukrainians pay for utilities, buy medicines and tickets," said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
According to her, on the first day of the programme, it was supported by a number of charities and volunteer organisations: Come Back Alive, Serhii Prytula's Charity Foundation, AZOV.ONE, Patronage Service "Angels of Azov", Tabletochki, Support the Soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, Da Vinci Wolves Battalion and others.
"The Winter ePidtrymka programme can actually become a National Donation programme. After all, everyone who receives UAH 1,000 from the state will have an opportunity to support the Armed Forces with these funds through charitable foundations and volunteer organisations,’ reminded the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
How to apply for the Winter ePidtrymka payment through Diia?
If you already have a National Cashback card, select it when submitting your application. If you do not have such a card, Diia will offer to open it in the application of one of the programme's partner banks.
One can apply for the benefit until 28 February 2025. The funds can be spent until the end of 2025.
