Over UAH 1 billion earned by land auction organisers in Prozorro.Sale system since early 2025

Land auctions in the state electronic system Prozorro.Sale have generated over UAH 1 billion for organisers since the start of 2025.

Of these funds:

  • Over UAH 577.3 million per year comes from land leases,
  • Over UAH 331.2 million from the sale of state, municipal non-agricultural land, and private plots,
  • Over UAH 123.1 million from the sale of seized land.

“Land auctions in the Prozorro.Sale system demonstrate how transparent rules open the market to investors. High competition – over three participants per lot on average – and a doubling of final prices confirm strong business interest. Every successful auction is not just a transaction but a steady influx of private investment, driving economic recovery and development,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy.

Since the beginning of the year, nearly 3,400 successful online auctions have taken place in the system. Over 1,300 organisers, including local communities, the Land Bank (a project of the State Property Fund of Ukraine), private and state executors selling seized plots, and private owners, have announced land auctions.

Most successful auctions involve local communities: over 2,300 municipal plots sold have brought nearly UAH 489 million to local budgets. The highest number of auctions occurred in:

  • Odesa region – 236,
  • Lviv region – 234,
  • Cherkasy region – 205.

Since the start of the year, nearly 6,300 participants have competed in land auctions. On average, competition per auction exceeds three participants, with final plot prices more than doubling as a result of online auctions.

As of 27 May 2025, over 3,500 plots with a total starting value of nearly UAH 1.5 billion are available for sale and lease in the system. Anyone can participate in land auctions by registering on one of the accredited platforms in the Prozorro.Sale system.

As a reminder, land sales auctions in the Prozorro.Sale system have been held since October 2021. Over this period, nearly 23,500 successful online land auctions have generated almost UAH 5.9 billion.
