In the war that russia has waged against our state, the aggressor is deliberately destroying the telecommunications infrastructure. Dozens of television stations were damaged by rocket fire and bombing. Now the restoration of broadcasting is one of the key tasks of the Concern for Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television (KRRT) within the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine. It’s a great pleasure that friends from other countries have come to the rescue in this work.
The Republic of Lithuania has recently provided 19 television and FM transmitters for such purposes. Now we expect help from colleagues from Poland. As part of the cooperation between the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine and the KRRT with the leading operator of terrestrial radio and television of the Republic of Poland, Emitel, Ukraine will receive free television and radio equipment. The agreement on the supply of the first batch has already been signed by representatives of the Concern and the Polish company.
Within a few weeks, four powerful digital TV transmitters, three FM transmitters and antenna systems will be delivered to Ukraine. The equipment will work for a joint victory over the enemy on the information front.
