Poland's support is of utmost importance: Pioruns and Warmates in the hands of our military successfully destroy the enemy, says Oleksii Reznikov

Today, May 16, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov met with the Chief of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Michał Dworczyk. The meeting was also attended by Deputy of the Minister of Defense Olexandr Polishchuk and Volodymyr Havrilov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine Bartosz Cichocki.

Oleksii Reznikov and Michał Dworczyk discussed the security situation in Ukraine in the context of repelling russia's armed aggression and meeting the most pressing needs and interests of the Armed Forces.

Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the people of Poland and its Government have given Ukraine a friendly shoulder, helping and supporting our citizens and Ukrainian defenders in times of hardship.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine thanked Poland for the important and consistent support of the Ukrainian people and our soldiers in the fight against the russian occupiers.

Among other things, we tackled joint projects that will increase the defense capabilities of our countries. Poland is undoubtedly Ukraine's best neighbor and ally.
