Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov and UNICEF Representative in Ukraine Ms. Lotta Sylwander and lead singer of Antytila band Taras Topolya took part in the signing ceremony.

"Our fruitful cooperation with UNICEF has been lasting for more than one year. The signing of the Memorandum strengthens the continuation of joint work aimed at activating the participation of young people in all state-building processes that affect the country’s  life, development and solution of burning issues", the Minister said.

"We are glad that the well-known Ukrainian music band Antytila has joined our team. The frontman of the band Taras Topolya actively supports the U-Report project, one of the most effective mechanisms and simple tools for young people to influence changes in important spheres of public life", Ihor Zhdanov stressed.

During 2017-2018 U-Report team together  with Taras Topolya had conducted more than 50 meetings with students all over the country. As a result of these meetings, 7,000 indifferent young Ukrainians joined the U-Report polls

The UNICEF Representative in Ukraine said: "I am very pleased that some of the projects that we implement in synergy with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine are very successful. Projects like U-Report and similar are incredibly important. It's nice to see young people and understand that we spare no effort to fulfill our common goal. "

Taras Topolya thanked the Ministry and the U-Report project for fruitful cooperation and interesting project. "I am pleased to be engaged in this work. Two years ago we quickly found common understanding with the U-Report team. Due to such initiatives, young people really become more influential on changes in our state", he underscored.
