    Today, November 5, the Verkhovna Rada adopted Bill № 0059 "On Ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Montenegro on International Road Transport of Passengers and Cargo". 286 MPs voted in favor.

    "Montenegro is one of the last European countries with which the rules of international road transport have not been settled yet. This Agreement is essential for the establishment of a proper legal basis for cooperation in the field of international road transport between our countries. Its ratification will contribute to the development of Ukrainian-Montenegrin relations in the field of transport, in particular their further liberalization, as well as the improvement of bilateral relations between the states," said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii in his statement at the Verkhovna Rada.

    The above-mentioned Agreement regulates the international transportation of passengers and goods by motor vehicles:

    - between the territories of Ukraine and Montenegro;

    - transit through their territories and to/from third countries on the basis of permits issued by the authorized bodies of the countries.
