Ukraine is interested in installing Japanese clean technologies equipment for domestic enterprises of the metallurgical, coal and energy industries, stressed the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ostap Semerak during a working visit to Tokyo (Japan) on the results of the meeting with the Minister of the Environment of Japan Masaharu Nakagawa.

"During the meeting a special emphasis was placed on the mechanisms for transferring of Japanese clean technologies to Ukraine. This step would have substantially improved the life of Ukrainians, made our products more competitive on international markets, and  make Ukraine - a successful country. The way we want to see it", the Minister commented.

He recalled that Ukraine undertook commitment to implement the National Emissions Reduction Plan.
