Day 594 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The russian occupiers keep ignoring the International Humanitarian Law, as they target and shell the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure alike, terrorizing civilians.

The Ukrainian defense forces continue to defend in the east and the south of Ukraine, conduct the offensive on Melitopol axis, and offensive operations on Bakhmut axis. As they destroy the enemy, they liberate the temporarily occupied territories and consolidate new positions.

During the day of October 9, there were 39x combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 1x missile, 63x air strikes, 47x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian targets across Ukraine. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

Also, last night, the russian federation launched yet another air strike on Ukraine using 36x Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces and means downed 26x enemy Shaheds.

Air strikes hit Halahanivka (Chernihiv oblast), Dihtyarne, Stepne (Sumy oblast), Kindrashivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast), Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Siversk, Spirne, Andriivka, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast), Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Zmiivka, and Beryslav (Kherson oblast).

More than 120x settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts came under artillery fire.

Pivnich operational-strategic group, Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy troops conduct active subversive activities in order to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened axes. The adversary increases the density of minefields along the state border in Belgorod oblast (russia).

Khortytsia operational-strategic group, Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 5x enemy attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 7x enemy attacks in the vicinity of Makiivka (Luhansk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian soldiers repelled 4x enemy attacks near Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast). In turn, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut (Donetsk region). They have partial success in the vicinity of Andriivka (Donetsk oblast), inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidated their new positions.

Tavria operational-strategic group, Avdiivka and Maryinka axes: the enemy launched more than 15x unsuccessful attacks in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the Ukrainian soldiers repelled an enemy attack near Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders are holding back the enemy in the vicinity of Levadne (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting the enemy.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: the Ukrainian defense forces conduct counter-battery fire, destroy the supply depots, and successfully strike behind the enemy lines.

During the day of October 9, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 10x air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment of the adversary.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1x command post, 1x ammunition depot, 2x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, and 1x electronic warfare station of the russian invaders.
