Day 532 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the day of August 8, the enemy launched 4x missile and 53 air strikes, 86 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians, destroyed residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure. 

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

During the day of August 8, there were more than 30 combat engagements.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. 

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Hremyachka and Leonivka (Chernihiv oblast). The adversary fired mortars and artillery at more than 30 settlements, including Volodymyrivka, Senkivka, Yasna Polyana, Hremyach (Chernihiv oblast), Znob-Novhorodske, Seredyna Buda, Bunyakyne, Volfyne, Velyka Pysarivka (Sumy oblast), Strilecha, Pylna, Hatyshche, Budarky, and Bolohivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian troops are standing their ground, and have repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka (Kharkiv oblast).

The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Synkivka, Kotlyarivka (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivske (Luhansk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Kucherivka, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Terny, Serebryanka, Spirne, and Vesele (Donetsk oblast). The settlements of Bilohorivka, (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with enemy artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian troops are standing their ground, and have successfully repelled enemy attacks on the outskirts of Klishchiivka and in the vicinity of Zaitseve (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of settlements of Kramatorsk, Markove, Klishchiivka, Pivnichne, and New York (Donetsk oblast). More than 15 settlements, including Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, Pivnichne, and New York (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling. 

Avdiyivka axis: under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled russian troops’ attacks in the vicinity of Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, and Sjeverne (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Sjeverne and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast). Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Soloviove, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery fire.

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the russian offensive in the vicinity of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka (Donetsk oblast). Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery fire.

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost position in the vicinity of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). 

The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of settlements of Vremivka, Blahodatne, and Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), and Levadne (Zaporizhzhia oblast) were shelled with artillery.

Zaporizhzhia axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novodanylivka and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The enemy fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Rivnopil, Novodarivka, Olhivske, Pyatykhatky, Lobkove, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), and Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk oblast).

Kherson axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Olhivka (Kherson oblast). More than 10 settlements came under enemy artillery fire, including Mykhailivka, Zmiyivka, Olhivka, Mykilske, Veletenske, the city of Kherson (Kherson oblast), Kutsurub, and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast).

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation on Melitopol and Berdyansk axes, consolidating their positions, and conducting counter-battery fire.

Against the backdrop of successful combat operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the casualties of the russian occupation forces has been mounting. In particular, there is a dramatic increase in the number of wounded and killed servicemen of the russian occupation forces on Svatovo-Kreminna axis. In order to organize the evacuation of the wounded to russia, employees from the special purpose unit of the 442nd District Military Clinical Hospital of the russian Ministry of Defense were reported arriving in Svatove (Luhansk oblast). In particular, between August 1 and 7, about 500 occupants with gunshot wounds of varying severity were sent from the above area to a hospital in Belgorod. At the same time, in order to conceal the actual number of their losses at the front, the dead russian occupiers are sent to Rostov-on-Don. 

During the day of August 8, Ukrainian Air Force launched 10 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the adversary.

During the day of August 8, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 2 command posts, 5 artillery systems at their firing position, 1 ammunition depot, and 2 electronic warfare stations of the adversary.
