Day 579 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the day of September 25, there were 17 combat engagements. Moreover, the russian federation launched another attack with 12 Kalibr cruise missiles, 2 P-800 Oniks anti-ship cruise missiles and 19 Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs on the port infrastructure of Odesa oblast. Air defense shot down 11 Kalibr cruise missiles and all 19 Shaheds. In total, the enemy launched 14 missile strikes, 57 air strikes, 40 MLRS strikes at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian targets. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Residential buildings, a hotel, a kindergarten and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. There are no signs of offensive groups being formed. Certain units of the belarusian armed forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy maintains its military presence in the border areas, continues shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The adversary launched air strike in the vicinities of Leonivka (Chernihiv oblast), Popivka and Ponomarenky (Sumy oblast). More than 25 settlements suffered enemy artillery and mortars fire, including Klyusy, Bleshnya, Hremyachka, Kostobobriv (Chernihiv oblast), Bila Bereza, Volfyne, Myropillya, Ryasne, Pozhnya (Sumy oblast), Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Nesterne, Budarky (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka (Kharkiv oblast). More than 10 settlements, including Novomlynsk, Lyman Pershyi, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka (Kharkiv oblast), suffered enemy artillery and mortars shelling.

Lyman axis: the adversary launched air strikes at the settlements of Nadiya, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast) and Spirne, Vasyukivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 15 settlements including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Zarichne, Dibrova, Fedorivka, Nykyforivka (Donetsk oblast), suffered enemy artillery and mortars fire.

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled an enemy attack in the vicinity of Klishchiyivka (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers launched an air strike near Pivnichne (Donetsk oblast). More than 25 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortars fire, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka (Donetsk oblast).

Avdiyivka axis: The adversary fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Keramik, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Sjeverne and Orlivka (Donetsk oblast). 

Maryinka axis: during the day of September 25, the Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 7 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground near Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched an air strike near Novomykhailivka. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Antonivka, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Kurakhove (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the adversary launched an air strike near the settlement of Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast). About 10 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortars fire.

Zaporizhzhia axis: The occupiers launched air strike near Verbove and  Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at about 30 settlements, including Chervone, Orikhiv, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepove, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

Kherson axis: the invaders launched air strikes against Beryslav, Odradokamyanka, Olhivka, Lvove (Kherson oblast). The russian occupiers fired artillery and mortars at about 10 settlements, including Kherson, Tokarivka, Antonivka (Kherson oblast) and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast).

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation on Melitopol axis and offensives (assaults) on Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the day of September 25, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 11 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment and 1 strike on an anti-aircraft missile system of the adversary.

Missile troops hit 9x artillery systems, 1 concentration of weapons and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot and 1 electronic warfare station of the russian invaders.
