The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, conducts strikes, and shells both military and civilian targets. The enemy is actively using aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day of January 24, there were 50 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 2 missile and 53 air strikes, carried out 53 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched air strikes near Zemlyanyi Yar, Zybyne, Krasne Pershe (Kharkiv oblast). More than 25 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Ulytsya, Chuikivka, Marchykhyna Buda, Iskryskivshchyna, Volodymyrivka, Basivka, Popivka (Sumy oblast), Stohnii, Udy, Starytsya, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Nesterne (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 assaults in the vicinity of Synkivka (Kharkiv oblast). In that area the occupies made attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Tabaivka, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Masyutivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 assaults near Dibrova (Donetsk oblast), and 3 attacks near Makiyivka, Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), where the enemy made attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The invaders launched air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Bilohorivka, Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebryanka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks in the vicinities of Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to improve their tactical situation. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne (Donetsk oblast). Around 10x settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, New York (Donetsk oblast). 

Avdiyivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 3 enemy attacks near Avdiyivka, and 5 more attacks near Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Avdiyivka, Sjeverne (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Stepove, Orlivka, Avdiyivka, Sjeverne (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinities of Heorhiyivka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the adversary, with air support, made 9 failed attempts to improve its tactical situation. The invaders launched air strikes near Maksymilyanivka, Heorhiyivka (Donetsk oblast). The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Maksymilyanivka, Heorhiyivka, Novomykhailivka were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

Shakhtarske axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 assaults south of Zolota Nyva and east of Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Staromaiorske and Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 1 assault near Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 25 settlements, including Poltavka, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Novoandriyivka, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: the invaders launched air strikes near Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Chervonyi Mayak, Zmiyivka, Novoberyslav (Kherson oblast). The adversary fired artillery at the city of Kherson, the settlements of Beryslav, Sadove (Kherson oblast).

The occupiers do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy made 7 unsuccessful assaults on positions of Ukrainian troops. 

During the day of January 24, the Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 6 concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the occupiers. 

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 concentration of troops of the russian invaders.
