Day 508 of the full-scale russian military aggression continues.

During the day July 16, the enemy carried out 6x missile and 38x air strikes, launched about 30x MLRS attacks on Ukrainian cities and Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the russian terrorist attacks, civilians were injured, houses, commercial and administrative buildings, as well as cars were damaged.

The threat of missile and air strikes remains high across Ukraine.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka axes, heavy battles continue. About 20x combat clashes took place during the day.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes detected. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy forces maintain an enhanced military presence. An airstrike was carried out at Shpyl of the Sumy Oblast. russians shelled with mortars and artillery more than 20x settlements, including Stepne, Popivka, Kozache of the Sumy Oblast and Basove, Visoka Yaruga, Ternova, Vovchansk of the Kharkiv Oblast.

Kupyansk axis: our soldiers are holding their ground. Enemy forces conducted unsuccessful offensives south of Masyutivka and carried out an air strike in the Kislivka area of the Kharkiv Oblast. Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Kislivka of the Kharkiv Oblast were under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Lyman axis: the enemy forces conducted unsuccessful offensive operations east of Vesely, Donetsk Oblast. They carried out airstrikes at Belogorivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Siversk, Donetsk Oblast. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka of Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka of Donetsk Oblast shelled by artillery.

Bakhmut axis: our defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the Orihovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, and Ivanivsky of the Donetsk Oblast. Also, the enemy made attempts to restore lost position northwest of Kurdyumivka, Donetsk Oblast, albeit without success. russians carried out an air strike at Pivdenne. More than 10x settlements, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Druzhba of the Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by artillery.

Avdiivka axis: the enemy forces launched an air strike at Avdiivka. The adversary shelled more than 10x settlements, including Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk Oblast.

Maryinka axis: Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of russian troops in the Maryinka area. The enemy shelled more than 10x settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Georgiivka in the Donetsk Oblast.

Shakhtarsk axis: in the northern part of Staromayorskyi, Donetsk Oblast, the enemy forces made an unsuccessful attempt to restore the lost position. They carried out airstrikes in the Vremivka, Blagodatny and Makarivka districts of the Donetsk Oblast. The occupiers shelled the settlements of Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Zolota Niva, Velyka Novosilka, and Blagodatne.

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the enemy is concentrating forces to prevent further advance of our troops. They carried out an airstrike at Stepove of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. russians shelled more than 15x settlements, including Malinivka, Hulyaipole, Charivne of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Dudchany, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Berehove, Kizomys of the Kherson Oblast and Kherson.

Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk axes, are equipping captured positions, and carry out counter-battery measures.

Ukrainian Air Force conducted 15x strikes on enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment concentrations, 1x of which was on the enemy’s anti-air system.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment concentrations, 9x artillery units at firing positions and 2x enemy anti-air defense systems.
