Day 691 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

The adversary continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes and shells both military and civilian objects. The enemy is actively using aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day of January 15, there were 86x combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 1x missile and 31x air strikes, 51x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy launched 1x air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Vesele (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 30x settlements, including Leonivka, Hremyach (Chernihiv oblast), Atynske, Basivka, Zapsillya, Stepok, Hrabovske, Oleksandrivka (Sumy oblast), Huriv Kozachok, Kozacha Lopan, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Okhrimivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2x attacks near Synkivka (Kharkiv oblast). In that area, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to improve its tactical position. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10x settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 12x enemy attacks near Terny, Yampolivka, Torske (Donetsk oblast), and 18x more attacks in the vicinities of Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Hryhorivka, and Verkhnokamyanske (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers used air support to attempt to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops in that area. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at around 15x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 6x attacks of the adversary in the vicinities of Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy launched an air strike near Bohdanivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 10x settlements, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and New York (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

Avdiivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 16x enemy attacks in the vicinities of Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, and 15x more attacks in the vicinities of Sjeverne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). With the air support, the adversary made unsuccessful attempts to improve its tactical position in that area. In addition, the enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Oleksandropil (Donetsk oblast). The adversary fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Oleksandropil, Novokalynove, Semenivka, Lastochkyne, Karlivka, and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the vicinities of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobjeda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). On this axis, the adversary used air supports as it made 11x unsuccessful attempts to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops. Hostre, Kurakhove, Heorhiivka, Kostyantynivka, Katerynivka, and Yelyzavetivka were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations. The invaders launched 1x air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Vodyane (Donetsk oblast). The adversary fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Vremivka, and Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2x attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost ground in that area. The adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Novodarivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Around 20x settlements, including Novodarivka, Poltavka, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, and Novoandriivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: Kherson and the vicinities of Beryslav, Tomaryne, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Stanislav (Kherson oblast), as well as the vicinities of Dniprovske and Solonchaky (Mykolaiv oblast) came under enemy artillery fire.

The enemy does not abandon its intention to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River. For instance, during the day of January 15, the adversary attempted 1x unsuccessful assault at the positions of the Ukrainian troops.

During the day of January 15, Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 22x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, and 1x anti-aircraft missile system of the adversary.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1x concentration of troops, 3x artillery systems, and 2x radar stations of the russian invaders.
