The two hundred ninety-ninth (299) day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military large-scale invasion continues.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Chervonopopivka, and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk oblast, and Verkhnyokamianske, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Maryinka, Pobyeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk oblast.

Over the past 24 hours, the russian occupiers have launched 4 missile and 7 air strikes with the usage of Shahed-136 type unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as 55 MLRS attacks. Settlements, civilian infrastructure and the civilian population were affected.

The enemy started the current day with the use of attack UAVs, detailed information will be provided after clarification.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

In the Siverskyi direction, the settlements of Hremyach in Chernihiv oblast and Bilokopytove in Sumy oblast were hit by mortar fire.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Chervona Zorya, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Starytsa, Vovchansk, Volohivka, Chuhunivka, Fiholivka, Dvorichna and Novomlynsk settlements of Kharkiv oblast.

In the Kupyansk direction, the areas of Yahidne, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove in Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk oblast were affected by fire.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy shelled Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, and Dibrova of the Luhansk oblast.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired tanks and rocket artillery at the areas of the settlements of Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, Berestovka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Hryhorivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka, Diliivka, Ozaryanivka, Northern and Opytne of Donetsk oblast.

In the Avdiivka direction, shelling was recorded near Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy hit the areas of Temyrivka, Chervone, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Plavni settlements of the Zaporizhzhia oblast with rocket and barrel artillery; Chervonogryhorivka and Nikopol of Dnipropetrovsk oblast and Sadove, Kherson, Komyshany and Kizomys of Kherson oblast. There are casualties among civilians.

The occupiers continue to search the population in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblast. Special attention is paid to mobile phones and smartphones.

The number of invaders in the settlements of the Melitopol district has increased. In addition, the russian occupiers are considering the possibility of involving former police officers who have defected to the enemy to participate in hostilities.

During the past day, the Ukrainian aviation made 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 strikes on the positions of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.

At the same time, our defenders shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle of the "Shahed-136" type.

Units of missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the control post, the area of concentration of manpower, 2 enemy ammunition depots, as well as the counter-battery radar station "Zoopark".
