Day 596 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The russian occupiers keep ignoring the International Humanitarian Law, as they shell not only the positions of Ukrainian troops, but also civilian infrastructure in various settlements, terrorizing civilians.

The Ukrainian defense forces continue to defend in the east and the south of Ukraine, conduct the offensive on Melitopol axis, and offensive operations on Bakhmut axis. As they destroy the enemy, they liberate the temporarily occupied territories and consolidate new positions.

During the day of October 11, there were 95x combat engagements. Unfortunately, missile strike by russian terrorist troops on a gymnasium in the settlement of Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk oblast) resulted in deaths and injuries among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged. Also, on the night of October 12, the russian federation launched another air strike on Ukraine, using Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Information on the aftermath of this terrorist attack is currently being updated. The enemy launched a total of 2x missile and 72x air strikes, 67x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements.

Air strikes hit Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast), Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Siversk, Spirne, Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Kindrativka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Dyliivka, Keramik, Orlivka, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka, (Donetsk oblast), Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk oblast), Novoraisk, Zmiivka, Kozatske, Odradokamyanka (Kherson oblast).

More than 130x settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts came under artillery fire.

“Pivnich” Operational-Strategic Group, Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy troops conduct active subversive activities in order to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened axes. The adversary increases the density of minefields along the state border in Belgorod oblast (russia).

“Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group, Kupyansk axis: Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 10x enemy attacks in the vicinities of settlements of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy’s offensive in the vicinities of Makiivka (Luhansk oblast) and Torske, Serebryanske forestry (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 15x enemy attacks there.

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk oblast, having success in the areas east of Klishchiivka and east of Andriivka.

“Tavria” Operational-Strategic Group, Avdiivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders are bravely holding the line, repelled 10x enemy attacks near Avdiivka and another 10x attacks in the areas east of Stepove, southeast of Sjeverne and south of Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: during the day of October 11, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled more than 10x enemy attacks in the vicinities of Maryinka, Pobjeda and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area south of Zolota Nyva and southeast of Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders are holding back the enemy in the vicinity of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

“Odesa” Operational-Strategic Group, Kherson axis: the Ukrainian defense forces conduct counter-battery fire, destroy the supply depots, and successfully strike behind the enemy lines.

The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive on Melitopol axis and have improved the tactical situation in the area west of Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). Ukrainian soldiers inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy.

During the day of October 11, Ukrainian Air Force launched 12x air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the occupiers.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1x concentration of troops, weapons and military equipment, 1x ammunition depot, 9x artillery systems, 1x radar system of the russian invaders.
