Day 471 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Last night, the russian federation launched yet another missile and air strike on Ukraine. Detailed update will be published later.

During the day of June 8, the adversary launched 7 missile strikes, 2 of which targeted the city of Uman, and 43 air strikes, 79 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. There are civilian casualties. 

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

The adversary continues to focus its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka axes, heavy fighting continues. During the day of June 8, 43 combat engagements took place in the above-mentioned areas of the frontline.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. 

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy reinforces its group engaged in border protection with units of territorial troops. During the day of June 8, the enemy launched air strikes on the settlements of Myropillya, Sinne, and Severynivka (Sumy oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Seredyna-Buda, Atynske, Bezsalivka, Myropillya, Hrabovske, Velyka Pysarivka, Ponomarenky (Sumy oblast), Krasne, Morokhovets, Lukyantsi, Starytsya, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, and Chuhunivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: russian forces launched an air strike in the vicinity of Kyslivka. The adversary fired artillery and mortars at Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivske (Luhansk oblast).

Lyman axis: during the day of June 7, the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Vesele (Donetsk oblast). Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Verkhniokamyanske, Torske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the adversary conducted offensive operations towards the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Bila Hora, to no success. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bila Hora and Toretsk (Donetsk oblast). Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk and Pivnichne (Donetsk oblast) came under enemy artillery fire.

Avdiivka axis: the adversary made unsuccessful attempts to advance near the settlements of Sjeverne and Opytne. Russian forces launched air strikes in the vicinity of Avdiyivka. The occupant forces fired artillery at the settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Karlivka (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinity of the city of Maryinka. The enemy suffered losses. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery in the vicinities of Maryinka, Pobjeda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Velyka Novosilka, shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Shakhtarske, Zolota Nyva, and Vremivka (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary stays on the defensive. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novopil (Donetsk oblast), Hulyaipole (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Zmiyivka, Beryslav, and Kozatske (Kherson oblast). The occupant forces fired artillery at Burlatske, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Temyrivka (Donetsk oblast), Olhivske, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Beryslav, Antonivka, Dniprovske (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.

In the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Simferopol, in particular), there is a certain trend in local media. They ignore the fact of the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station dam by the russian occupiers and the aftermath of this disaster. The local occupation authorities are reported to be concerned about possible panic among the public. 

An “Akhmat” unit was spotted in the southwestern part of the temporarily occupied Donetsk. The occupants are robbing civilians in the said area of the city, as well as filming staged combat engagement videos. On 6 June, an effective fire attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the militants’ concentration in a training camp resulted in the enemy casualties of 56 killed. Their sanitary losses are being finalized.

During the day of June 8, Ukrainian Air Force launched 19 air strikes on the concentrations of troops and 2 air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary. 

Ukrainian defenders intercepted 6 combat and 4 reconnaissance UAVs of various types.

During the day of June 8, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 5 command posts, 6 concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 2 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8 artillery units at their firing positions, and 2 other important adversary targets.
