The Government is simplifying the certification of mine action processes. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 26 November.

“The state is interested in increasing the number of mine action operators. Therefore, the Government adopts a resolution on digitalisation of application to certification bodies. This can be done through the Diia portal with minimal time spent,” said Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, since the beginning of the russian invasion, 35,500 square kilometres of territory have been returned to use. More than fifty partner countries have joined the demining coalition, and 66 certified mine action operators are working.
