  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 4, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 9,524 (313 children out of this number, 408 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,514 persons, 199 patients died, 7,536 persons recovered. There have been conducted 72,442 testing (42,278 using the PCR method and 30,164 using the ELISA method).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 420,617 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 176,404 people recovered;
    • 7, 731 people died;
    • 3,386,489 testing have been conducted.

    The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (856 cases), Kharkiv region (850 cases), Donetsk region (636 cases),Odesa region (547), Khmelnytsky region (511 cases).

    As of November 4, coronavirus disease was registered:

    Kyiv – 40 390 cases;

    Vinnytsia region – 11 363 cases;

    Volyn region – 14 544 cases;

    Dnipropetrovsk region – 16 169 cases;

    Donetsk region – 12 367 cases;

    Zhytomyr region – 16 200 cases;

    Zakarpattia region – 15 470 cases;

    Zaporizhia region – 11 227 cases;

    Ivano-Frankivsk region – 22 047 cases;

    Kirovohrad region – 2 730 cases;

    Kyiv region – 17 918 cases;

    Lviv region – 31 639 cases;

    Luhansk region – 3 988 cases;

    Mykolaiv region – 9 027 cases;

    Odesa region – 26 332 cases;

    Poltava region – 10 617 cases;

    Rivne region – 20 300 cases;

    Sumy region – 12 776;

    Ternopil region – 21 332;

    Kharkiv region – 39 559;

    Kherson region – 4 622;

    Khmelnytsky region – 17 439;

    Chernivtsi region – 23 296;

    Cherkasy region – 9 898;

    Chernihiv region – 9 367.

    Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
