
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of March 15, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 6,792 (326 children out of this number, 109 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 213,108.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 53,155 people have been vaccinated, of whom 53,155 have received 1 dose, and 0 have completed vaccination (received 2 doses).
On March 14, 2021, 2,018 people were vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 2,018 persons were vaccinated with 1 dose, vaccination was completed (2 doses) - 0 people.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,497 persons, 130 patients died, 3,491 persons recovered. There have been conducted 27,598 testings (17,338 using the PCR method, 3,236 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 7,024).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 1467548 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 1226007 people recovered;
- 28433 people died;
- 7377404 testing have been conducted.
