Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 12, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 481 (28 children out of this number, 11 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,572,509 people have been vaccinated.

On July 11, 2021, 83,177 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 25,564 - CoronaVac vaccine, 46,715 – Comirnaty vaccine, 10,898 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 249 persons, 36 patients died, 750 persons recovered. There have been conducted 41 120 testings (20 909 using the PCR method, 9 783 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 10 482).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2 241 698 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2 178 279 people recovered;
  • 52,640 people died;
  • 11,063,662 testings have been conducted.
