Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 8, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 655 (31 children out of this number, 37 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,306,008 people have been vaccinated.

On July 7, 2021, 109,160 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 35,243 - CoronaVac vaccine, 59,928 – Comirnaty vaccine, 13,989 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 396 persons, 12 patients died, 885 persons recovered. There have been conducted 41,607 testings (18,341 using the PCR method, 7,954 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 15,312).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,240,246 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,176,110 people recovered;
  • 52,572 people died;
  • 11,001,742 testings have been conducted.
