  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 19, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 2,265 (275 children out of this number, 22 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,456,848 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 6,304,016 people have been vaccinated. On September 19, 2021, 36,029 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 8,230 – CoronaVac vaccine, 22,665 – Comirnaty vaccine, 4,506 – AstraZeneka, 628– Janssen, Moderna – 0

    Vaccination was carried out by 296 mobile immunization teams, 1,119 vaccination points and 346 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,255 persons, 44 patients died, 565 persons recovered. There have been conducted 24,792 testings (13,058 using the PCR method, 2,011 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 9,723).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,350,646 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,231,417 people recovered;
    • 54,919 people died;
    • 12,484,445 testings have been conducted.
