Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 29, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 10,554 (846 children out of this number, 197 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 24,514,289 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 13,391,656 people have been vaccinated. On November 29, 2021, 226,059 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 85,677 – CoronaVac vaccine, 91,697 – Comirnaty vaccine, 30,582 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 18,103.

Vaccination was carried out by 999 mobile immunization teams, 3,282 vaccination points and 462 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,749 persons, 561 patients died, 25,318 persons recovered. There have been conducted 79,126 testings (36,476 using the PCR method, 8,839 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 33,811).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,438,381 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,946,032 people recovered;
  • 85,975 people died;
  • 15,869,089 testings have been conducted.
