According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of August 24, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 727 (46 children out of this number, 10 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 8,300,200 vaccines have been made
The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 5,108,074. On August 24, 2021, 20,739 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 4,296 - CoronaVac vaccine, 7,760 – Comirnaty vaccine, 1,268 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 664, Moderna – 6,751.
Vaccination was carried out by 254 mobile immunization teams, 821 vaccination points and 301 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 682 persons, 20 patients died, 382 persons recovered. There have been conducted 26,204 testings (12,855 using the PCR method, 2,110using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 11,239).
