Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 20, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 5,159 (463 children out of this number, 129 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,565,584 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 6,366,923 people have been vaccinated. On September 20, 2021, 108,736 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 31,094 – CoronaVac vaccine, 56,754 – Comirnaty vaccine, 20,888 – AstraZeneka, 0– Janssen, Moderna – 0

Vaccination was carried out by 794 mobile immunization teams, 2,814 vaccination points and 338 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,086 persons, 137 patients died, 2,156 persons recovered. There have been conducted 63,973 testings (30,563 using the PCR method, 7,718 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 25,692).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

• 2,355,805 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
• 2,233,573 people recovered;
• 55,056 people died;
• 12,515,008 testings have been conducted.

The number of people with coronavirus disease in regions:

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
