  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 25, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 213 (11 children out of this number, 0 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign4,812,500 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,099,711 people have been vaccinated. On July 25, 2021, 49,057 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 15,138 – CoronaVac vaccine, 15,681 – Comirnaty vaccine, 980 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 17,258.

    Vaccination was carried out by 165 mobile immunization teams, 298 vaccination points and 171 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 256 persons, 2 patients died, 170 persons recovered. There have been conducted 15,795 testings (7,562 using the PCR method, 1,905 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 6,328).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,248,663 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,184,365 people recovered;
    • 52,849 people died;
    • 11,278,944 testings have been conducted.
