Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 22, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 763 (57 children out of this number, 15 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign4,539,197 people have been vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,920,068 people have been vaccinated. On July 22, 2021, 139,441 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 40,454 – CoronaVac vaccine, 42,015 – Comirnaty vaccine, 24,474 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 26,898.

Vaccination was carried out by 743 mobile immunization teams, 2,672 vaccination stations and 171 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 446 persons, 21 patients died, 639 persons recovered. There have been conducted 40,057 testings (18,411 using the PCR method, 7,630 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 –

14,016).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2 247 419 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2 183 642 people recovered;
  • 52 811 people died;
  • 11 239 813 testings have been conducted.
