Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of December 1, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 13,531 (1,346 children out of this number, 240 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 24,958,629 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 13,543,490 people have been vaccinated. On December 1, 2021, 210,869 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 86,732 – CoronaVac vaccine, 95,709 – Comirnaty vaccine, 5,781 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 22,647.

Vaccination was carried out by 960 mobile immunization teams, 3,230 vaccination points and 466 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,003 persons, 525 patients died, 23,535 persons recovered. There have been conducted 86,490 testings (45,544 using the PCR method, 8,912 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 32,034).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,463,872 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,995,727 people recovered;
  • 87,057 people died;
  • 15,962,709 testings have been conducted.
