  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 18, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 182 (11 children out of this number, 0 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 4,098,648 people have been vaccinated.

    On July 17, 2021, 37,173 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 13,264 - CoronaVac vaccine, 23,619 – Comirnaty vaccine, 290 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 307 persons, 5 patients died, 187 persons recovered. There have been conducted 16,970 testings (9,587 using the PCR method, 1,613 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 5,770).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2 244 677 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2 181 385 people recovered;
    • 52,731 people died;
    • 11,161,068 testings have been conducted.
