Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 15, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 5,744 (629 children out of this number, 95 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,106,749 vaccines have been made.

The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 6,097,685. On September 15, 2021, 118,786 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 36,679 - CoronaVac vaccine, 59,943 – Comirnaty vaccine,
18,652 – AstraZeneka, Janssen –0, Moderna – 3,512.

Vaccination was carried out by 899 mobile immunization teams, 2,919 vaccination points and 321 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,507 persons, 101 patients died, 1,499 persons recovered. There have been conducted 72,931 testings (34,420 using the PCR method, 7,942 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 30,569).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,331,540 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,226,629 people recovered;
  • 54,651 people died;
  • 12,377,327 testings have been conducted.
