  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 7, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 617 (26 children out of this number, 18 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,196,848 people have been vaccinated.

    On July 6, 2021, 104,680 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 35,516 - CoronaVac vaccine, 55,048 – Comirnaty vaccine, 14,116 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 404 persons, 23 patients died, 872 persons recovered. There have been conducted 40,893 testings (17,945 using the PCR method, 9,129 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13,819).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,239,591 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,175,225 people recovered;
    • 52,560 people died;
    • 10,983,401 testings have been conducted.
