Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 25, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 15,936 (1,394 children out of this number, 303 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 23,775,008 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 13,164,651 people have been vaccinated. On November 25, 2021, 273,875 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 107,657 – CoronaVac vaccine, 115,934 – Comirnaty vaccine, 33,636 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 16,648.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,036 mobile immunization teams, 3,290 vaccination points and 461 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,208 persons, 608 patients died, 24,569 persons recovered. There have been conducted 93,059 testings (45,617 using the PCR method, 9,141 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 38,301).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,400,340 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,877,021 people recovered;
  • 84,149 people died;
  • 15,746,389 testings have been conducted.
