  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 9,964 (570 children out of this number, 360 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 375,149.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,161 persons, 114 patients died, 5,771 persons recovered. There have been conducted 31,901 testing (26,290 using the PCR method and 5,611 using the ELISA method).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 732,625 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 345,149 people recovered;
    • 12,327 people died;
    • 4,528,772 testing have been conducted.

    The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1,460), Dnipropetrovsk region (1,138 cases), Odesa region (818), Zaporizhia region (725), Kyiv region (691).

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
