According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of April 29, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 11,627 (518 children out of this number, 259 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 380,354.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 629,184 people have been vaccinated. On April 28, 2021, 70,469 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 1,838 people got CoviShield vaccine, 5,793 – CoronaVac vaccine, 4,658 – Comirnaty vaccine, 58,180 - AstraZeneka.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,096 persons, 387 patients died, 18,442 persons recovered. There have been conducted 93,463 testings (41,499 using the PCR method, 16,569 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 35,395).
