Аccording to the data of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 1,  2,088 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.

In total, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 123,303 COVID-19 cases, 57,802 people recovered, 2,605 patients died. A total of 1,506,655 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 688 people have recovered.

As of September 1, coronavirus disease was registered:

Vinnytsia region – 4,044 cases;

Volyn region – 5,523 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 2,398 cases;

Donetsk region – 1,448 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 3,382 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 7,600 cases;

Zaporizhia region – 1,627 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 9,348 cases;

Kirovohrad region - 816 cases;

Kyiv – 13,546 cases;

Kyiv region – 5,755 cases;

Lviv region – 14,703 cases;

Luhansk region – 320 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 1,284 cases;

Odesa region – 7,494 cases;

Poltava region – 808 cases;

Rivne region – 9,269 cases;

Sumy region – 1,532 cases;

Ternopil region – 6,194 cases;

Kharkiv region – 9,338 cases;

Kherson region – 400 cases;

Khmelnytsky region – 2,519 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 10,420 cases;

Cherkasy region – 1,594 cases;

Chernihiv region – 1,941 cases.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
