Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 15,331 (659 children out of this number, 606 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 348,077.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,955 persons, 225 patients died, 9,617 persons recovered. There have been conducted 76,911 testing (49,323 using the PCR method and 27,588 using the ELISA method).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 677,189 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 317,395 people recovered;
  • 11,717 people died;
  • 4,373,786 testing have been conducted.

The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Dnipropetrovsk region (1,399 cases), Dnipropetrovsk region (1,254), Kyiv city (979), Zaporizhia region (898), Kharkiv region (895).

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
