According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of March 18, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 15,053 (744 children out of this number, 425 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 230,633.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 81,755 people have been vaccinated, of whom 81,755 have received 1 dose, and 0 have completed vaccination (received 2 doses).
On March 17, 2021, 9,832 people were vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 9,832 persons were vaccinated with 1 dose, vaccination was completed (2 doses) - 0 people.
Vaccination was being held by 193 mobile immunization teams.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,376 persons, 267 patients died, 6,514 persons recovered. There have been conducted 118,780 testing (53,039 using the PCR method, 21,782 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 43,959).
