  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 13, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 11,787 (388 children out of this number, 555 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,587 persons, 172 patients died, 6,155 persons recovered. There have been conducted 73,398 testing (46,813 using the PCR method and 26,585 using the ELISA method).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 512,652 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 233,849 people recovered;
    • 9,317 people died;
    • 3,828,912 testing have been conducted.

    The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1,083 cases), Dnipropetrovsk region (740), Zaporizhia region (727), Sumy region (680 cases), Kyiv region (672 cases).

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
