  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 12,498 (586 children out of this number, 646 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 377,403.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,470 persons, 221 patients died, 10,023 persons recovered. There have been conducted 62,327 testing (33,817 using the PCR method and 28,510 using the ELISA method).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 745,123 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 355,172 people recovered;
    • 12,548 people died;
    • 4,562,589 testing have been conducted.

    The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1,799), Odesa region (889), Dnipropetrovsk region (870 cases), Kyiv region (841) and Lviv region (813).

The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
