According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of 9:00 a.m. on April 22, in Ukraine there have been confirmed 6592 COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, 174 patients died, 467 patients recovered. In the past day, 467 new cases were recorded.
As of April 22, coronavirus disease was registered:
Vinnytsia region - 349 cases;
Volyn region - 176 cases;
Dnipropetrovsk region - 150 cases;
Donetsk region - 16 cases;
Zhytomyr region - 287 cases;
Zakarpattia region - 218 cases;
Zaporizhia region - 141 cases;
Ivano-Frankivsk region - 589 cases;
Kirovograd region - 251 cases;
Kyiv - 989 cases;
Kyiv region - 390 cases;
Lviv region - 274 cases;
Luhansk region - 26 cases;
Mykolaiv region - 82 cases;
Odesa region - 148 cases;
Poltava region - 116 cases;
Rivne region - 353 cases;
Sumy region - 86 cases;
Ternopil region - 471 cases;
Kharkiv region - 82 cases;
Kherson region - 72 cases;
Khmelnytsky region - 54 cases;
Chernivtsi region - 1053 cases;
Cherkasy region - 206 cases;
Chernihiv region - 13 cases.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
4,466 patients, including 334 children are undergoing outpatient treatment. A total of 2,126 people were hospitalized, including 97 children. There are 92 people having severe symptoms undergoing treatment with the use of artificial lung ventilation machines.
As a result of the complications caused by the disease, 174 people died with 90 men out of this number and 84 women with 85% of deaths occurring in the 50 and above age group.
A total of 424 people have already recovered, including 27 children - repeat laboratory testing has found no virus.
The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 22, 2020, the Center received 1,117 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases. Since the beginning of 2020, 19,649 COVID-19 suspicions have been received.
