Аccording to the data of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of August 31, 2,141 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.

In total, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 121,215 COVID-19 cases, 57,114 people recovered, 2,557 patients died. A total of 1,550, 280 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 380 people have recovered.

As of August 31, coronavirus disease was registered:

Vinnytsia region – 3,993 cases;

Volyn region – 5,471 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 2,349 cases;

Donetsk region – 1,418 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 3,302 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 7,516 cases;

Zaporizhia region – 1,596 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 9,179 cases;

Kirovohrad region - 814 cases;

Kyiv – 13,370 cases;

Kyiv region – 5,669 cases;

Lviv region – 14,519 cases;

Luhansk region – 315 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 1,252 cases;

Odesa region – 7,283 cases;

Poltava region – 789 cases;

Rivne region – 9,182 cases;

Sumy region – 1,470 cases;

Ternopil region – 6,014 cases;

Kharkiv region – 9,076 cases;

Kherson region – 396 cases;

Khmelnytsky region – 2,481 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 10,303  cases;

Cherkasy region – 1,573 cases;

Chernihiv region – 1,894 cases.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
